Orders & Payments

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. You may also login to your account to track your order.

Alternatively, you can call us on 01332 712800. Our Client Care team are available from Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm. Please note we are closed on weekends and public holidays.

When will my order be charged?

Your card will be charged at the point of order placement. All orders with lead times are made to order, therefore once your order has been placed our expert team will craft the items especially for you.

Can I make payment over the telephone?

Unfortunately, we do not accept payment over the telephone. If you are having difficulties placing your order online, then please contact our client care team who will be happy to assist you. Our Client Care team are available from Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm. Please note we are closed on weekends and public holidays.

Does Royal Crown Derby offer a finance plan?

Shipping & Returns

How long does it take for an order to be shipped?

All items will specify an associated lead time at the date of order placement. If your full order is in stock, our team will aim to dispatch your order within 3 working days (please note this may be extended during peak periods).

If some of the items are on backorder, our expert team will craft the items especially for you, this can take up to ten weeks. Please note that the lead time is product specific.

What are the delivery times and rates?

Delivery charges and times vary by destination country and the method selected. For further information on delivery charges, please read our delivery page.

How do I know if my return has been received?

Please allow up to 10 working days, from the day your return has been received back with us for returns to be processed. Once the return has been processed, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Once your refund has been processed please allow for up to 5-10 working days for the refund to appear in your bank account.

Can I make a return without a receipt?

Royal Crown Derby does not accept returns without a sales receipt. Articles are accepted for credit if returned in saleable condition within 30 days of receipt, accompanied by a sales receipt. Some exclusions may apply, see the returns policy for more details.

Some or all of my items have arrived damaged, what do I do?

We aim to ensure that all of our products arrive safely and securely. In the eventually that your order arrives damaged please contact our Client Care team clearly detailing your order number, damaged items and pictures of the faults. Please note that notification of damaged items must be raised within 10 days of receipt. Please contact our team on enquiries@royalcrownderby.co.uk

What are your recommended care instructions?

Do you offer a repair service?

Unfortunately, we do not offer an in-house repair service. We recommend speaking with a specialist china restorer to establish whether your item can be fixed.

Can I purchase a replacement clock face?

Unfortunately, all clocks are discontinued and as such we are unable to replace your clock face. We recommend getting in touch with a local clock smith who may be able to assist you.

How do I identify the backstamps and marks on my items?

We recommend you visit our historic backstamps and marks guide here. If you do have any further questions regarding the history of your piece, our expert team of volunteers will do their very best to assist you, however due to the number of items crafted over the years, this may not always be possible. Can you provide valuations for selling or insurance purposes?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide valuations for our products. We recommend that where possible, you keep your receipt, or contact a local antiques specialist who may be able to provide a valuation.

Can I get a replacement limited edition certificate?

Certificates are only available with the purchase of a Royal Crown Derby limited edition item. Certificates cannot be replaced.

Is it possible to order personalised products?

Can I purchase slightly imperfect products?

Discontinued items are not available to purchase direct, however you may be able to purchase discontinued items through alternative outlets.
